Academy Development and Project Manager

We are looking for a Development and Project Manager to define the framework and platform for course delivery methods, academy course development projects and competence development solutions.

Your week day

Your Role

You will lead a global team of three enthusiastic colleagues with different responsibilities. With an active leadership you will create an understanding of and engagement in Snap-on Equipment Academy’s strategic direction to enable the employees to contribute to customer satisfaction and business growth.

 

Your responsibility in this role is to actively collaborate with internal stakeholders, product management and other business areas within the company, to further develop our course offer, as well as secure competence development delivery and solutions, provided to end customers, distributors and internal employees.

 

To be successful in this position, you must be driven, inspiring self-learner with proven experience as a functional leader, ideally within the automotive and/or truck and bus workshop area.

Your skills

Responsibilities for the role:

  • Responsible for the academy competence development offer and strategy.
  • Lead the development and project team.
  • Manage academy development projects within the EMEA Snap-on organization and affiliated Snap-on competence development organisations.
  • Develop and implement business processes towards a global standard.
  • Overall responsibility for keeping the academy website and distributor site updated.

 

Competence

  • Minimum a college degree or more.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Language: Swedish (native) and English (fluent). Other languages are an advantage.
  • Several years’ experience of training development and delivery.
  • Proven experience in establishing, developing and leading global functions in a global organization.
  • Good pedagogical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a structured work approach.
  • Several years’ experience from the Automotive and Truck and Bus industry.

 

The role is based in Gothenburg and will require travel.
