WorldSkills Kazan 2019 – Day One of Competition

Kazan, August 23rd

Kazan is the Skills capital of the world as the city hosts the 45th WorldSkills Competition, held from August 22-27. As Global Industry Partner of WorldSkills International and as for past competitions, Car-O-Liner is supporting the Autobody Repair skill.

After two intense weeks of work to set-up the equipment and “prepare” the body shells, the competition kicked off today with the 21 young professionals spending seven hours in their respective bay, performing pre-defined and identical tasks.

Day One of the event is now over and the level of competitiveness is high. The race for victory is open, the participants will reflect on their performance today with their support team and hopefully be well rested for Day Two, starting tomorrow at 09:00 am Kazan Time (UTC +2).

A live stream of the event is provided by WorldSkills Kazan at https://worldskills2019.com/en/get-involved/streaming-schedule/
