CM029 Joining Techniques

A three day course in Joining Techniques for collision repair technicians, covering methods and equipment for welding and joining of vehicle body panels, using tools such as resistance and MIG welders, and riveting and gluing tools.

Objectives:
After the completed course the participant should be able to:

  • recognise and comprehend any situation requiring repair welding and joining of body panels
  • utilize the best methods for bonding and riveting

Resistance welder
Mig/Mag welder
Plasma cutter
Induction heater
Damaged vehicle

Duration:

Three days, 24 hours
